Arlene Hoekstra Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 7, 2026 we had to say goodbye to Arlene Hoekstra (Trenton, Ontario). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Jelle Hoekstra; her son Arnold Hoekstra (Debbie); her siblings, Thomas and Sylvia Teertstra (Yje); and her parents, Jaike and Sytze (Meulen).

She is survived by: her children, Christine Petrovich (late Kresho), Stewart Hoekstra (Barb) and Jennifer Seymour (Dale); and her siblings, Nell Duyzer (late Gerritt), Joe, Meulen (Francis), Evelyn Stammis (late Kas), Charlie, Helen Westerhof (Walter) and Christine Chard (Gary). She is also survived by Nana will be sadly missed by her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Ebenezer Christian Reformed Church (18 Fourth Ave, Quinte West, ON K8V5N3). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 12th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
