She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Houston, Richard Scragg and Ronald Thornton; her grandchildren, Melissa Houston, Lindsay Houston, Scott Houston, Mackenzie Thornton, Sydney Thornton, Jake Scragg, Brad Scragg and David Scragg; her brother Ronald Thornton; and her great grandchildren, Blaire Robinson, Walker Robinson and Warren Robinson.
