He was predeceased by: his parents, George VanSlyke and Florence VanSlyke; and his brother Doug. He is survived by: his wife Linda VanSlyke; his sons, Jason VanSlyke (Treena) and Sean VanSlyke; his grandchildren, Logan, Dakota, Shyanne and Mason; his great grandchildren, Knox and Willow; and his sisters, Georgina and Shirley (late Joe).
