She was predeceased by: her husband John Frederick Mitchell Sr.; her parents, Benjamin Long and Anita Long; and her siblings, Patricia Jones (late Herb), Ben "Paul" Long (late Brenda "Bunny") and David Long (late Roberta).
She is survived by: her children, Ronald J. Donaldson, Lucinda Donaldson, Tammy Donaldson, Bonnie Zorica, John F. Mitchell Jr. (Tracy), Peter Mitchell (Christine) and Wendy Matthews (Joe); and her sisters, Joan Guptill (late Richard) and Pam Holton (late Cliff). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Alzheimer's Society, Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Quinte Humane Society.
