He was predeceased by : his parents, Marjorie and Derek; and his nephew Herman. He is survived by : his wife Francine; his sons, Jason and Brandon; his stepdaughter Meghan (Alex); his granddaughter Ella; his siblings, Janet, Gayle (Jimmy) and John (Donna); his nephews, Richard (Cheryl), Justin (Caitlin) and Rob; and his niece Samantha (Kurtis).
