He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Barbara Hembrey; his children, Brian Hembrey, Michele Hembrey Waunch (Paul) and Trevor Hembrey (Dina Cyriazis); his grandsons, Matthew Potter, Desmond Hembrey, Christopher Leal (Julie Kawar) and Jacob Cyriazis; and his siblings, Michael Hembrey (Elizabeth) and Julie Leahey. He was also cherished by nephews, extended family and many friends.
As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Ed's House, Northumberland Hospice Care Centre in Cobourg.
