He is survived by : his wife Cheryl Dowswell; his children, Jennifer Turner (Derek) of St. Thomas, Christopher Dowswell (Shawna) of Brampton, Kassandra Dowswell of Thorold and Shay-Lynne Perry (Fuller) of Corning, NY.; and his cousins, Mark, Karen Overholt, Karen Smith, Stephen, Christine Fox and Gordon Elliott.

The family kindly asks that donations be made to Youth Unlimited YFC Toronto in memory of Don.
