He is survived by: his wife Marcelle Closs; his daughter Laura (Rick Fleming); his stepson Mike Closs; his grandchildren, Matthew Tinker, Nicholas Tinker (Ali), Tucker Fleming, Haille Fleming and Kurtis Vandenhoven; his great grandchildren, Hannah, Caden, Charlotte and Mallory; and his siblings, Kay Carney (late Jack Carney), Paul Wood (late Marilyn Wood) and Gloria Connors (Jody Evans).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada or St. Peter's Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family.
