He was predeceased by : his parents, P. John Taylor and Winifred Taylor (Newbery); his brother George; and his former life partner Bernice. He is survived by : his wife Nina Taylor (Cahill); his children, Marilyn Taylor, Brenda MacIntyre (Donald) and Norman Taylor (Donna); his grandchildren, David (Anji), Ian and Jennifer (Zack); his great grandchildren, Kaylie, Aiden, Elaina and Daniel; and his stepchildren, Linda Bertrand (Dan), Lisa Weston (Paul) and Jim Cahill (Sandy).

A celebration of life was held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Trent Port Marina (15 Creswell Dr, Trenton, ON K8V6X5).
