She was predeceased by: her parents, Armando Lanza and Amanda Lanza; and her husband William George Kaufman. She is survived by: her children, William Kaufman (Irene) and Kelly Jefferson; her grandchildren, Justin, Tyler, Zachary and Victoria; and her siblings, Vilma and Mario.
