It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Poirier-Vandereems (Trenton, Ontario), who passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David Walt and Mildred Walt; her child Velinda; and her siblings, Norman, Charles "Sandy", Peter, Harry, Beatrice, Francis, Verdella and Mildred.

She is survived by: her husband Ken Vandereems; her children, Roland Poirier (Stephanie), Elaine Foshay (Donald) and Rosemary Poirier; her grandchildren, Justin (Caitlin), Adam, Ashley (Evan), Blair and Hilary (Greg); and her great grandchildren, Jack, Connor, Wesley and Olivia. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to Cystic Fibrosis Canada, Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or Hospice Quinte would be appreciated by the family.
