He is survived by: his wife Elspeth Whitton; his children, Jerry (Judith) and Leslie; and his siblings, William, Don Johnston, Shirley, Gayle, Sheilda and David. He is also survived by several Nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews and Great Great nieces and nephews.
