It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rick Ellis (Trenton, Ontario), who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Barbara Riga (Joe), Robert Ellis (Marg), Judith Sharpe (Paul), Jacqueline Rightmyer, Wayne Ellis and Diane Wilson.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Caden Buchanan, Liam O'Brien, Brody, Kennedy and Coleson Ellis; his brother Harvey Ellis (Lorraine); and his brothers-in-law, Donald Rightmyer and Don Wilson.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Weaver Family Funeral Homes (170 Dundas St W, Trenton, ON K8V3R1). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St. George's Anglican Cemetery.
