It is with sadness that the passing of Robert Holmes of Trenton, Ontario is shared. Robert, born on June 4, 1936, passed away on August 25, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elaine Holmes (Thompson); his children, Bruce and Kelly-Anne; and his siblings, Arthur, Joyce Gallagher, Richard Holmes and Marg Percy.
He is survived by: his children, Kerry (Bonnie), Greg (Laura), Don (Lola) and Sean (Denise); and his sister Helen Beach (late Dave). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hannah Funeral Home - Tamworth (6689 Wheeler St, Tamworth, ON K0K3G0). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
