It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brian Francis Whalen (Tweed, Ontario), who passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Whalen and Yvonne Whalen (Rivers); his spouse Shirley Higgins; and his sons, Joseph and Dennis.

He is survived by: his son Anthony; his daughter-in-law Tammy; his grandchildren, Sharkey and Aiden; and his siblings, Dianne Whalen of Tweed, Richard Whalen of Belleville, Brenda Webb of Belleville and Cheryl Patterson (Doug) of Centreville.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Carthagh's Catholic Church (153 Hungerford Rd, Tweed, ON K0K3J0). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
