With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carmel Mary Lajoie of Tweed, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2025 at the age of 102. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ina Lessard and Egbert Lessard of Flinton; her sisters, Monica Lloyd and Bernice Lloyd of Kingston; and her husband James Leo LaJoie.

She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Eros (Robert) of Tweed and Anne Burton (Douglas) of Sherwood Park, Alberta.; her grandchildren, Paul (Gaia), Jonathan (Julie), Stephen Eros, Erica and James Burton; and her great grandchildren, Greenlea, Declan, Reyna, Robert, Natasha and Ella Eros.
