She was predeceased by: her former husband Kenneth Bretherton; and her parents, Dorthy Alice Trevelyan and Samuel Trevelyan. She is survived by: her son Norman Bretherton (Judy); her grandchildren, Mandy Young (Ryan), Craig Bretherton (Tara), Faith, Mitchell, Emily, Sophie, Reegan, Blake and Rory; her husband Melvyn Brocklebank; her stepchildren, Gayle (Danny), Dennis (Jill) and Bryan (Ellen); and her stepgrandchildren, Nichole, Sameer, Scott, Geoffrey, Katherine, Sean, Daniel and Rebecca.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (143 Main Street Markham N, Markham, ON L3P1Y2). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Cemetery (143 Main Street Markham N, Markham, ON L3P1Y2).
