He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Florence Palmateer; his parents, Stanley Palmateer and Beatrice Palmateer; his sister Aileen; his brother-in-law Richard Batten; and his nephew Andrew Batten.
He is survived by: his sons, Christopher (Loretta), Matthew and Michael; his grandchildren, Megan and Stanley; and his siblings-in-law, Donald (Donnie) and Norma Thrasher.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the White Building (617 Louisa St, Tweed, ON K0K3J0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Municipality of Tweed for the Erin Palmateer Pool, the Tweed and Area Heritage Society or the Diabetes Association.
