We announce the death of Garfield Williams of Tweed, Ontario, who passed away on July 29, 2026, at the age of 84. Garfield will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fitz Williams and Myrtle Williams. He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn Williams (Keller); his children, Kimberly Matchett (Robert), Timothy Williams (Jean) and Kelly McMillan (Lucas); his grandchildren, Rebecca (Chris Weatherall), Eric, Jennifer, Samantha, Alexandra and Abigail; his great grandchildren, Avery, Freya and Quinn; and his sister Dawn Monaghan.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to do so may make a donation in Garfield's memory to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 428 in Tweed, Ontario, or a charity of their choice.
