She was predeceased by : her parents, Wilfred LaBerge and Amelia Trudeau; her siblings, Marjorie Donahue (Benedict) and Marcellus LaBerge; her spouses, Thomas Vincent "Gerald" Johnston and Joseph Leo Cassidy; her daughter Judy Huffman (Robert); and her extended family Reg Ward.

She is survived by : her daughters, Theresa Perek (Richard), Joan Morton and Linda Holmes (Randy); her grandchildren, Angela, Charles (Jess), Cory, Megan (Jason) and Amelia (Kyle); her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Zackary (Alexandra), Abby and Lucas; her great great grandchild Shelldon; and her extended family, Mary-Jo, Chris Hayes (family: Ali, Ben, Henry, Barbara), Michael Cassidy, Joe, Kim Cassidy (family: Michaela, Lauren) and Pete Cassidy.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Edmund's Church (161 A St Edmunds Rd, Tweed, ON K0K3J0). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 20th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
