As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joan may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband John "Jack" Joseph Masterson; her children, Joanne and Daniel; her grandson Zach; and her mother Attoinette Lafontaine Moreau of Penetanguishene.
She is survived by: her children, Tim Masterson (Tina), Susanne Quinlan (Neil), Darlene Loft (Greg), Lisa Maracle (Gary), Tina (John Campbell) and Brenda (late David Thompson). She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren, her many nieces, nephews, extended family.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Edmund's Roman Catholic Church (161a St Edmunds Rd, Tweed, ON K0K3J0).
