He was predeceased by : his son-in-law Michael Sy; and his siblings, Margaret, Michael and John. He is survived by : his wife Nina Jocelyn (Jo); his children, Alan (Nancy), Sandra (Steven), Doug (Carol), Linda (Bruce) and Leslie (John); his grandchildren, Stephanie, Paul, David, Melissa, Jennifer, Kendra, Dylan, Kevin, Christopher, Katherine, Jessica, Connor, Jeremy and Jacqueline; and his brother James.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date once the Covid 19 restrictions are removed.

For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
