It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Valorie Pitre (Val Caron, Ontario), who passed away on May 26, 2026, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Trites and Christine E. Trites; and her husband Pete "Rejean" Pitre. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Mindy Pitre (Chris Ryall) and Dr. Lacey Pitre (Steven Evans); her grandchildren, Lillian and Logan Peter; and her siblings, Bob, Darlene (Dave Moodie), Wendy and Norm. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Health Sciences North Foundation directed towards advancing cancer care in the North or to the 'Make Happy Tummies' campaign would be greatly appreciated.
