He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuel Brasil and Josefa Pires; and his sister Teresa. He is survived by: his wife Regina; his children, Vicki and Elvis; and his granddaughters, Addison and Matilda. He is also survived by his brother and three sisters, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Racine, Robert & Gauthier Funeral Home (180 Montreal Rd, Gloucester, ON K1A 0S2). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Santo Cristo Parish (1100 Kenaston St, Ottawa, ON K1B3P5). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 26th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Notre-Dame Cemetery (455 Montréal Rd, Ottawa, ON K1K0V3).
