It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ian Higginson (Vankleek Hill, Ontario), who passed away on October 26, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ian Higginson to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Fraser Higginson and Mary Eleanor Higginson; and his siblings, Thomas (Margaret) and Janet. He is survived by: his spouse Jean Kerr; his children, Matthew (Suzanne), Carolyn (Heidi) and Meaghan (David); his grandchildren, Ellen, Shaun, Lainey, Charlotte, Bennett and Georgiana; and his siblings, James (Ruth), Catherine Barr (Gary) and Eleanor Sides (late Ben). He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hillcrest Funeral Home (151 Bond St, Vankleek Hill, ON K0B1R0).

In lieu of sending flowers, memorial donations may be made to the McLaughlin Cemetery and the HGH Foundation.
