It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bill Dowson of Varna, Ontario, who passed away on November 9, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Elaine (Jewitt); his parents, Harold Dowson and Margaret Dowson; his siblings, Marion (Earl Tipping) and John Dowson; his brothers-in-law, Ross, Kevin Jewitt and Jim Preszcator; and his nephew Dan Tipping.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda, Scott Consitt of Varna, Bonnie Groot of Hensall and John Dowson of Varna; his grandchildren, Stacey, Cody Anderson, Kelly Consitt, Mike Crete, Kim Consitt, Mitch McCall, Steven Consitt, Michael, Lindsay Groot, Matthew, Kaylene Groot, Justin, Brittany Groot, Jeremy Groot, Alysha Dowson, Jeff Boyes, Jayme Dowson, Perry Weido, Krysten Dowson, Jason and Adel Dowson; and his siblings-in-law, John, Barb Jewitt, Dennis, Phyllis Jewitt, Janice Preszcator, Bonnie Jewitt, Don, Pat Jewitt, Larry, Jessie Jewitt, Ken, Mary Jewitt, Steven and Rose Jewitt.
