We announce the death of Amelia Alati (Vaughan, Ontario), who passed away on August 18, 2026, at the age of 79. Amelia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She is survived by: her husband Giovanni; her children, Daniela (Charlie Cuddemi) and Jim (Tanya Curé); her grandchildren, Julia, Mia, John Paul, Charlotte, Eloise and Amelia; her siblings, Aldo (Josephine), Maria and Rick (Norris); and her siblings-in-law, Mary, Mario Alati and Frank Roselen.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Home "woodbridge Chapel" (8101 Weston Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A6). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, August 22nd 2026 at 9:30 AM at the St. Clare of Assisi Roman Catholic Church (150 St Francis Ave, Vaughan, ON L4H 2A2).
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Amelia may be made to SickKids Foundation or The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation.
