With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Benedetta Picano (Vaughan, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Benedetta left this world on May 4, 2025 at the age of 96, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Toronto. She is survived by: her husband Giovanni; her daughter Anita; her daughter-in-law Karen; her children, Mina (David) and Carlo; her son-in-law Genesio; her grandchildren, Christina (Fardeen), Emily (Brett), Stephen (Lara), Nathaniel, Kate (Rob), James and Nicholas (Sydney); her brother-in-law Benito (Liliana); and her sister Mina. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Home "woodbridge Chapel" (8101 Weston Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A6). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. David's Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major MacKenzie Dr., Maple, ON L6A1C6).
If so desired, donations in memory of Benedetta may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada.
