He was predeceased by: his parents, Antonio Mainella and Aurelia Leone; his parents-in-law, Carmine Cusciotta and Antonia Manocchio; his siblings, Giuseppe, Nicolina, Paulina, Addolorata (Bojano) and Carmela; and his siblings-in-law, Paolo, Addolorata (Toronto), Teresa and Michelina.
He is survived by: his wife Rosa; his sons, Anthony (Marisa), Domenic (Lan) and Carmine (Nadia); his grandchildren, Alexandra (Brandon), Melissa (Matt), Andrea (Kyle), Lucas (Olivia), Jesse, Kristen, Vanessa and Emily; his great grandchildren, Hayden and Dean; and his sibling-in-law Liberato.
