He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Ida; his parents, Michele and Catarina; his brothers, Giuseppe and Domenico; his children, Daniela (Achim Fischer), Michael (Michele), Antonio (Linda) and Domenico (Stephanie); and his grandchildren, Matteo, Sophie, Paola, Gianna, Sebastian, Anna and Gabriella.
