She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Meisner and Caroline Meisner; and her son Douglas. She is survived by: her husband Bill Peters of Parkinson's Disease; her children, Joseph, Victoria, William, Robert and Scott; her grandchildren, Christian, Jessica, Timothy, Colin, David, Paolo, Kevin, Antonio, Bryan, Craig, Robert, Martine, Rebecca, Duncan and Kyle; and her great grandchildren, Sydney, Gavin, Remy, Paul, Jace, Maisie, Elaina, Elizabeth, Nathan, Eva, Mark, James, Hudson and Donovan.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes (8088 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L4J1W3).

As an expression of sympathy, the family would appreciate donations to the Mackenzie Health Foundation or to Parkinson Canada.
