He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arcangela Marini and Giovanni Giroli; his wife Gina De Santis; his children, Giovanna (Michele), Luigi (late Marie-Laure), Luciano (Silvana), Caterina (Joe) and Silvia (Gino); his grandchildren, Sandro (Patricia), Marco (Morena), Danilo (Michelle), Luca (Erica), Cristina (Chris), Natasha (Scott), Daniel (Lori), Anthony (Jessica), Michael (Sara), Nicole (Paul), Gianluca and Alessia; and his great grandchildren, Madelyn, Nathan, Lorenzo, Ilaria, Charlotte, Sebastian, Louis, Nyava, Evan, Harlow, Mason, Francesca, Juliette and Jackson. He was also cherished by six siblings.
