With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Giannoula Hatzitolios (Vaughan, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 20, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Giannoula is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Giannoula's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her daughters, Eva and Helen. She is survived by: her husband John; her son-in-law George; her grandchildren, Tammy, Anna (Joe) and Stratis (Hailey); and her great grandchildren, Valentina, Joseph, George and Charlotte.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Home "woodbridge Chapel" (8101 Weston Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A6). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church (1 Brookhaven Dr, North York, ON M6M4N6).
