With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Giovanna Raso (Vaughan, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Giovanna left this world on February 24, 2026 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicola and Angelina. She is survived by: her husband Umberto; her children, Maria (Francisco Malaco) and Santo (Mara Atteritano); her grandchildren, Giancarlo, Robert and Alesandra; her sisters-in-law, Vittoria and Maria; and her siblings, Vince, Rosina, Giuseppe and Francesca.

Visitation was held on Sunday, March 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Home "woodbridge Chapel" (8101 Weston Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A6). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, March 2nd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L3W4).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Giovanna may be made to Hospice Vaughan.
