With sadness, we share the passing of Giovanni Di Gennaro (Vaughan, Ontario). Giovanni, born on February 16, 1938, passed away on October 3, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Giovanni for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. He was predeceased by: his parents, Guerino and Giulia. He is survived by: his wife Maria; and his siblings, Francesco, Maria, Pasquale, Gino and Inglesina. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 6th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Home "woodbridge Chapel" (8101 Weston Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A6). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. David's Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major MacKenzie Dr W, Maple, ON L6A1C6).

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Giovanni may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
