He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Carmela; his parents, Almerino Sasso and Addolorata Sasso; his siblings, Renato, Giovanni Sasso and Lucia Marro; his parents-in-law, Sabato and Modestina Ferraro; his children, Gianni (Fiorella) and Adele (Barkin); and his grandchildren, Julian and Isabella.

In Memory of Giulio, donations can be made to the Sinai Health System Foundation, directed to the "Heart Failure Clinic".
