She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Maron and Helen Maron. She is survived by: her husband Gerald "Yank" Kishner; her children, Jeffrey Kishner (Jennifer Gotlieb) and Jennifer James (Courtney); her grandchildren, Joshua and Ariel Kishner; and her brother Robert Maron.
Later, she created an Alzheimer's research initiative at The Clark Institute, and created and led fundraising platforms at Crohn's and Colitis Canada.
