With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Luz Martelle (Vaughan, Ontario), who passed away on November 1, 2025 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Luz departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Luz. Though Luz may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her son Jason (Evie); her grandchildren, Brittany and Tygon; her son Jeffrey (Rachel); and her grandchildren, Kai and Alessia.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Paschal Baylon Parish (92 Steeles Ave W, Thornhill, ON L4J1A1). A committal service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery (8361 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L3T2C7). A burial will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (8361 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L3T2C7).
