Maien Qaqish Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maien Qaqish (Vaughan, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2026 at the age of 66. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Nabila; his parents, Khalil Qaqish and Asma Qaqish; his children, Nancy Wakileh (Andrew), Duna Mckay (Kevin), Charlie Qaqish (Mailiis) and Anthony Qaqish (Emma); and his grandchildren, Abigail, Sophia, Olin, Kaiden, Jade, Eveli, Austin and Lily.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Home (211 McNaughton Rd E, Maple, ON L6A4E2). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church (9116 Bayview Ave, Richmond Hill, ON L4B).
In memory of Maien, in lieu of flowers, memorial donation to St George Antiochian Orthodox Church would be appreciated by the family.
