We announce the death of Maneck Wadia (Vaughan, Ontario), who passed away on October 19, 2026, at the age of 95. Maneck will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Maneck will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Maneck will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Maneck’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Yasmin (Naju); his children, Farahnaz and Tanaz (Mo); and his grandchildren, Zarius and Darius. He was also cherished by loving brother to his eight siblings, and an affectionate uncle to his numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Kane-Jerret Funeral Home (8088 Yonge St, Thornhill, ON L4J1W3).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in honour of Maneck Wadia to Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation.
