He is survived by: his wife Nadia; his daughters, Julia and Lola; his siblings, Joe Messersi (Anthea) and Maria Luisa Pecorelli (John); his parents, Luigi and Maria; his father-in-law Tony Guglietti (late Germana); his siblings-in-law, Paul Guglietti (Marianna) and Angela Rivera (Adam); his nieces and nephews, Silvano (Javaneh), Lisa, Enelyse (Devon), Jasmin (Scott), Vanessa (Dave), Armando (Jessica), Rita (Michael), Emma, Giorgia, Massimo and Antonio; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nico, Julian and Adrian.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marcello may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
