It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maria Di Fonzo (Vaughan, Ontario), who passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nazzareno and Virginia. She is survived by: her husband Zaccaria; her son Giovanni (Joanne); her grandchildren, Victoria and Zachary (Sabrina); her great grandchildren, Luca and Marco; and her sister Ida Rosalba Palma (Antonio).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 7th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Home "woodbridge Chapel" (8101 Weston Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A6). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church (300 Ansley Grove Rd, Woodbridge, ON L4L3W4).
In Maria's memory, donations may be made to Cortellucci Hospital.
