With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maria Lucia Melo of Vaughan, Ontario, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Maria Lucia left this world on July 12, 2025 at the age of 89, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Carlos Melo; her children, Eduarda (Aaron) and Charlie (Lucia); her grandchildren, Adam (Nikole), Alannah (David), Daniel and Emily; her great-grandparent Vava; her great grandchildren, Aria and Alaia; and her sister Elisa (Alfredo).

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Funeral Home (7300 Hwy 27, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A5). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
