Maria Sgro Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Sgro (Vaughan, Ontario), who passed away on July 16, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Maria may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Teresa, Antonio and Pasquale. She is survived by: her husband Stefano; her grandchildren, Daniela and Adrian (Sage); and her sister Leonarda.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Vescio Funeral Home "maple Chapel" (211 McNaughton Rd E, Maple, ON L6A4E2). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. David's Roman Catholic Church (2601 Major MacKenzie Dr., Maple, ON L6A1C6).
