“I was Phil’s last direct Large File Audit Manager at CRA before he retired. He was an independent worker, and a true professional in a difficult job, where you don’t make a lot of friends. He could be rough around the edges, and yet very smooth when he had to be. He was very proud of his children, and their accomplishments (baseball, academics, etc.). He was a good man.
