He is survived by: his wife Maria; his children, Luigi (Rosanna), Carmela (Tiziano), Laura (Frank) and Antonella (Riccardo); and his grandchildren, Maria Christina, Caterina, Raffaele, Isabella, Victoria, Melissa, Sara, Adriana, Luca, Marco and Massimo.
In memory of Raffaele, donations may be made to either St. Michael's Hospital or Sick Kids.
