Raissa Abapolova Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 1, 2025, at the age of 93, Raissa Abapolova (Vaughan, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Raissa leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Vladimir; her child Yulia (Sergey); her grandchildren, Maria and Alexander (Anna); and her great grandchildren, Anastasia and Nicole.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Vescio Funeral Home "maple Chapel" (211 McNaughton Rd E, Maple, ON L6A4E2). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
