He was predeceased by: his parents, Sophia Melinyshyn and Stefan Melinyshyn. He is survived by: his spouse Rhoda; his sibling-in-law Eleanor Carpen (Bob); his children, Matthew Melinyshyn (Sherry), Leigh Thomson, Elizabeth Terzo (Joe) and Michael Melinyshyn (Beata); and his grandchildren, Heather, Stephen, Emily, Hannah and Alexander.
