He was predeceased by: his parents, Édouard Laurin and Desneiges Laurin; his wife Pauline Laurin; and his siblings, Rachel Demers (late Donald), Claire Roberge (late Gilles) and Bernard Laurin.
He is survived by: his children, Réal Laurin (Roxanne) of Wahnapitae and Brigitte Emond (Robby) of Sudbury; his grandchildren, Maxyme, Alex, Joël and Camie; and his siblings, Gérard Laurin (Anita) of Quebec, Raymond Laurin (late Christine) and Jacqueline Veilleux (Rénald) of Quebec.
