He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Thomson and Lottie Thomson; and his siblings, Muriel, Clarence and Connie.

He is survived by: his wife Gail Thomson; his niece Karen; his nephew Calvin; his brother-in-law Rick Adams (Gail); his nephew Mark; his niece Nancy Adams; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Zack and Kara Adams. He is also survived by his family, his friends.
